This newly remodeled vacation apartment is a wing off one of Bar Harbor's oldest homes, dating from the mid 1800's, located on historic Mt. Desert Street. The house was once home to Bar Harbor's first Episcopal Minister, and George B. Dorr, founder of Acadia National Park. The wing was originally added in 1880, when the house was converted to a summer residence for vacationers seeking to enjoy the beauty of Mt. Desert Island. The apartment is now modern and bright, yet cozy with character. First Floor: Living/TV Room, master bedroom with double bed; eat-in-kitchen with new appliances, utility room with new washer/dryer, bathroom with vanity and shower. Second floor: bedroom with two twin beds, and a loft area used as a study.

CHECK IN IS 3:00 PM - CHECK OUT IS 10:00 AM. Rentals are weekly only in the SUMMER SEASON (from Saturday to Saturday) unless otherwise specified in the listing. A Security Deposit is required. RATES DO NOT INCLUDE ALL LOCAL AND STATE TAXES.

Cancellations and Refunds
There is a cancellation fee for all cancelled bookings. A refund will be given if we are able to re-rent the property. In most cases, Pets are not allowed.

Deposits
A security deposit is due at the time of making a booking. The full balance of the reservation is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit is not included in the rental amount. If the reservation occurs within 8 weeks of arrival, then the security deposit and the full balance of the reservation are due at the time of making a booking.
